More reclassification information

I was perusing the blog of my contemporary at the Mercer Island Reporter , Megan Managan, and she had an extremely interesting tidbit from MI’s athletic director.

Craig Olson told Megan that Eastside Catholic has applied for membership in KingCo 3A/2A, something I’ve heard and discussed with some of the high school staff around our area. Seems like a decision on this could come in early January. I’ll be making some phone calls tomorrow to Sammamish to see if the Totems have decided where they’ll play next year – they have 2A numbers. They’ll still be KingCo 3A/2A, no matter what.

The Crusaders in KingCo? It’s a possibility.

I'm the sports writer at the Bellevue Reporter newspaper.
