Outtakes: Miscommunication. It happens.

Loved this shot from photographer Chad Coleman during Friday’s 27-21 Bellevue win over Liberty out in Renton.

The Patriots, facing an important third-and-short on their final drive, called timeout to make sure they had the right play called.

Here was what happened on the ensuiing play.

That’s Liberty running back Chandler Jenkins, well, running directly into quarterback Trey Wheeler during the handoff. Jenkins, however, didn’t quit on the play but somehow managed to get the yardage for the first down.

You have to love it when it all goes exactly as planned.
