ESPN has ranked the Abilene Eagles #2 in the Nation. Comparatively, we (Katy Tigers) are underdogs as a result. I just can't help but believe that if the Bellevue Wolverines are with their Katy Tigers brothers in Spirit and Prayer, that will push us over the top! Go Tigers! Go Wolverines! It's about 32 hours before our Texas Class 5A Div 2 Championship Game as I write. ESPN has ranked the Abilene Eagles #2 in the Nation. Comparatively, we (Katy Tigers) are underdogs as a result. I just can't help but believe that if the Bellevue Wolverines are with their Katy Tigers brothers in Spirit and Prayer, that will push us over the top! Go Tigers! Go Wolverines!

It was a great moment...I was there at Rice, too. Honor recieved, Honor returned. Much has been said lately in Washington press and Houston-area press about You, Us, and You and Us. Whatever happens, we in Katy Texas will never forget the year the Bellevue Wolverines took a great chance...(going all the way to Katy Texas) and became the worthiest of opponents and fastest of friends. May 2009 never be forgotten! This is what high school sports should be about. Well Done all! Pablo is exactly right! It was a great moment…I was there at Rice, too. Honor recieved, Honor returned. The over cast day almost felt like we had just played the game in a cloud. Our tough fight with a very good New Braunfels' team had just ended. Then the Bengal Brigade girls unrolled the banner. Rice Stadium on our side got quiet, I think at first because we are used to seeing our posters written in red paint and not blue. After a moment, people were going like, "Hey that's for Bellevue....Congratulations to the Wolverines!" You could see people getting their neighbors attention by reading it out loud. Then you could hear fans here clapping, saying "Way to go Bellevue- State Champions!"<BR>Good for you all, 2009 Washington State Champion Bellevue Wolverines.</BR> It was a moment to capture.
