The Bellevue sports blog
Today, as I was putting the finishing touches on our boys basketball feature, I decided to check in on former Bellevue star Aaron Bright, now a freshman at Stanford.
Bright has played in all seven of Stanford’s games, averaging just over 15 minutes a game for the Cardinal, who are 5-2 this season. He has scored 32 points total and has gone 6 for 14 from three-point range. Just like his days at Bellevue, he’s passing the rock well – his 12 assists through seven games are second on the team. He’s also the only Cardinal still shooting 100 percent on free throws – though he’s just 4 for 4.
