My understanding is that Kemper Freeman has been conditionally approved to build a helipad on top of Bellevue Square. This despite the fact that other West Coast cities, such as Seattle, don't allow helipads to be constructed in heavily populated areas, for safety reasons. Don't we have a toddler play area on the top floor of Bellevue Square? How could something like this be even conditionally approved?<BR><BR>I guess it's up to the new Bellevue City Council to provide the final ok on this.
